S8:E2: Part 1: The Senseless Murder of Pastor Brodes Perry (36) "Our Time is Up"

Collierville, TN–36-year-old Brodes Perry, was a respected spiritual leader known for his deep faith, generosity, and community impact. On April 11, 2019, Perry’s life was cut short by a deadly obsession, sending shockwaves throughout his congregation and community. 

Pastor Perry was killed by LaToshia Daniels, a woman he knew intimately and had a two-year affair with.  Daniels, consumed by unrequited affection, jealousy, and an escalating fixation, crossed state lines to confront Perry and his wife. 

 The violent attack was the culmination of a descent into control, delusion, and emotional unraveling.

In this two-part series this episode traces the events leading up to the confrontation, and the dynamics that allowed a dangerous obsession to spiral into tragedy and examines how obsession, masked as love, can become a weapon, underscoring that even spiritual leaders are vulnerable to hidden dangers.

For the first time ever, listeners will hear a detailed account from the woman behind the trigger.
