S6:E6: The Senseless Murder of Aliyah Terry (35) “Writing on the Wall”
⚠️Trigger Warning - This episode contains descriptions of intimate partner violence. Listener discretion is advised. ⚠️
Charlotte, North Carolina — 35-year-old Aliyah Terry, was a domestic violence advocate and mother of two, who tragically lost her life on July 2, 2019 at the hands of her live-in boyfriend, 32-year-old Isaiah Henderson.
Aliyah’s life was filled with purpose, she co-authored the book - The Queen Xperience to uplift survivors of domestic abuse and to raise awareness—an inspiring mission silenced far too soon. The book was four days from its release when Aliyah was tragically murdered.
All proceeds from the sale of the book, now go to help raise her children.
Aliyah’s legacy reminds us of the urgent need to support survivors and victims when warning signs appear.
