S5:E4: The Senseless Murder of Prince Joshua “PJ” Avitto (6) & The Attempted Murder of Makayla Capers (7) “The Bad Man”
Brooklyn, NY– Prince Joshua “PJ” Avitto, just six years old, was brutally stabbed to death in a Brooklyn elevator, while his best friend, seven-year-old Makayla Capers, fought desperately for her life. On June 1, 2014, the children were playing outside when they decided to take the elevator to the sixth floor to get an ICEE, but little did they know that they would come face to face with a monster. What would happen next would leave everyone asking one question— What would drive a man to commit such a senseless act of violence against two innocent children?
🎧Listen to Season 5: Episode 4 to find out how this heartbreaking case unfolds.
Rest in Peace PJ Avitto and our hearts go out to Makayla Capers and all those affected by this incident. 🙏🕊️
